Earlier this month business insurance specialist QBE chose Landing Forty Two as the venue for their thought leadership breakfast with 100 guests that included key clients, select brokers and staff.
Guests enjoyed an informal breakfast by Moving Venue and took part in a panel and round table discussion hosted by BBC Journalist Sue Thearle based on the topic ‘power of the people’. The talk focused on the importance of a support network behind a team and drew many parallels between business and sport. At the event, Matthew Crane (Director of UK & Ireland Retail, QBE) was joined by John Spencer (Lions Tour Manager), Lawrence Dallaglio OBE (retired English rugby union player and former captain of the English national team) and Michael Payne (former Royal Marine and leadership expert).
Annabel from Synergy who are the agency behind this event said, “The event team were very efficient, meeting our every request; from the initial conversations and throughout, we were offered site visits, branding options, and we were allowed to alter the event space as we wished. We were provided with previous event examples for inspiration including table plans and event images. The food was very high quality with a large range of offerings, and the catering staff were efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this venue for any event, the panoramic views overlooking the city certainly provide that first class feel.”
