Making Magic: Markets Land at The Leadenhall Building

When does it begin to look a lot like Christmas? This year, Landing Forty Two awaits a twinkling season of good cheer. We’re preparing for a fully booked December working our magic with a season of spectacular events. Yet our team’s advent countdown is officially marked by the inaugural arrival of The Leadenhall Building Christmas Markets.

If you’ve ever visited Germany during Yuletide you’ll know the streets are fueled with sparkling spirit. There’s no need to drop by Deutschland this year though. For the first time ever, the open atrium, just outside our iconic building will be filled with German-style wooden chalets festooned with goods from faraway lands.

Sprinkled in traditional lights, sprigs of holly and warming tones, the market will bring a vibrant fairytale feeling to The Leadenhall Building between the 27th of November to the 22nd of December.

Whilst the market may look nostalgic, our landmark location, better known as The Cheesegrater, is propelled to the future with its international outlook. Foodie traders are as diverse as London itself with everything from Punjabi street eats, delicate French macaroons, unique handcrafted burgers and German chocolate kisses. We can’t wait to tuck in!

Alongside the treats for the taste buds, our gift-finding dilemmas appear to be solved! The market offers a full range of round-the-world goods and crafts from Indian shawls, Turkish ceramics to the ever-favourite Christmas jumper. We’re looking forward to discovering all the goodies whilst listening to special choir, carol and jazz performances.

Whilst enjoying the festive frivolities, why not arrange a site visit with our team to truly start
