For the third year in a row, Locate Guernsey chose Landing Forty Two as the perfect venue for their Locate Guernsey Showcase, an event showcasing the beautiful Channel Island of Guernsey, and why it is an ideal relocation for High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs). Attending were some of the HNWIs themselves and intermediaries advising such clients, with the focus of the event being to communicate the many benefits of living on Guernsey. The event included a Guernsey-inspired lunch, speeches, a panel session and video viewing.
A glossy, high-impact event was crafted to the specifications of our client for the 190 attendees, who picked Landing Forty Two thanks to its fabulous cityscape views and high standards for such events. Guests arrived at 12 pm to a Prosecco reception in the bar area with canapés, before taking their seats at beautifully set formal round dining tables, complete with take-home tiny bottles of raspberry and coffee liquor by Haut Maison, an award-winning liquor maker from Guernsey. Locate Guernsey worked closely with our catering team, Moving Venue, to incorporate local ingredients from the island into the menu, which included canapés of Guernsey goats cheese balls filled with blackberry pâté de fruit, rolled in shallots, chives and walnuts and a dessert of traditional Guernsey Gâche Melee, served with whipped Guernsey cream and apple Rocquettes cider sauce.
Our in-house production company, Vibration Design and Production, provided a stage used for speeches and panel discussions in the centre of the venue, with six 80” HD plasma screens around the room showing videos, while their 12-speaker PA System and HD camera kit provided a live screen and surround sound to ensure all guests had effective visibility of the main stage. Working through the night to ensure a perfect set-up for an early-morning rehearsal, our production team were ready to greet the client with coffee for a smooth start to a busy but thoroughly enjoyable event.

With the same event already booked in for next year, the Locate Guernsey showcase was once again a great success for both the client and the teams involved.
