Christmas comes but once a year or does it? For exclusively invited guests of our recent Cinema in the Sky, Christmas certainly did arrive early!
It may be July but the VIP guests at our Christmas film screening became immersed in the season of festive wonder. Ascending The Leadenhall Building to our forty-second floor location, attendees enjoyed a Christmas preview showcasing all the possibilities that can be created at the venue when magic-season calls.
With a glass of fizz in-hand, guests took to their seats to enjoy a showing of The Holiday against a backdrop of floor-to-ceiling views over London’s ever-changing skyline. Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without all the trimmings and in-house catering partner Moving Venue were on-hand to ensure everyone was suitably treated to foodie-celebrations.
A choice of menu items included Gingerbread and cinnamon glazed ham hock, Butternut and blue cheese Mac and Cheese and of course Slow roast turkey breast with duck fat roast potatoes, sprouts and cranberry relish. A veritable feast awaited everyone.
With the film rolling, next came the sweet treats. A full dessert station followed complete with everything from Coconut and lime snowflake, Gingerbread parfait Christmas presents and Black Forest Christmas wreath pavlova. Enjoying the flavours of the festive season, the light skies on the horizon called guests to imagine the enchanting views that will await attendees this Christmas.
