Stairs in the city Charity Climb

Landing Forty Two was proud to be supporting CARE International UK for their event, Stairs And The City.

The women-only tower-running event challenged participants to climb 48 floors (1,258 steps) in our iconic property, The Leadenhall Building. With a friendly, encouraging atmosphere, the climb allows women to test their own strength and determination whilst supporting an incredible charity.

Founded in 1945, CARE International works around the globe to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice. They put women and girls in the centre of their work with the view that poverty cannot be eradicated until all people have equal rights and opportunities.

What’s more post-climb, participants and their guests celebrated their achievement with a glass of bubbly in hand here at Landing Forty Two. Taking in our spectacular panoramic view of London’s iconic skyline with fellow climbers, the sky will truly be the limit for women’s equality.
