BAI COMMUNICATION'S

In June 2021, BAI Communications were awarded the Transport for London (TFL) contract for high-speed mobile coverage on the underground with a 20-year concession. The agreement sees BAI communications working with TFL to roll out a high-speed 5G ready communications network across the underground of London, the largest of its kind in the world. The partnership is set to create the backbone of mobile and digital connectivity across London after the successful pilot on the eastern half of the Jubilee line.

BAI Communications were looking for a unique venue for an internal conference, hosting multiple celebrities and political guests to launch this partnership, with 85 in-person attendees and a live stream to be viewed by BAI Communications colleagues and guests worldwide.

BAI communications required a flexible, unique space offering the wow factor while providing a great vantage point across the city. Looking to create a conference and guest speaker central hub, drinks reception area, and a viewing gallery showcasing the unique rollout across the London underground stations. The unique layout of Landing Forty Two, with our central hub and wings to the right and left, offered the perfect solution.

Leveraging the unique view that we have across London, BAI Communications were able to set up a screen wall across the venue’s large floor-to-ceiling windows, a key element to the event. Casting the view onto these screens offering the ability to uniquely demonstrate the effectiveness of their rollout without compromising the breathtaking view from the 42nd floor, moved between presented content and casting the view to allow flexibility and versatility in the presentation and content being shared. 

With the conference set-up in the center of the venue, BAI Communications were then able to use the left and right wings of the venue for the breakout drinks areas and viewing gallery portions of the event. Transforming the venue with temporary walls, brand-colored uplighting, and a central AV set-up to stream the event live, delivering a unique, intimate yet impactful event.
