On the 14th October, Locate Guernsey held its first annual showcase event at Landing Forty Two. The event aimed to advertise Guernsey as a relocation destination in which to live and do business. The afternoon event also celebrated the company’s successful internationally recognised business community and promoted the services provided by Locate Guernsey.
Guests enjoyed a three-course Guernsey-inspired lunch, which was designed by catering and cookery school Sueco’s Executive Head Chef, Paul Wilson, in collaboration with Create. Each course celebrated the very best of Guernsey produce, with ingredients including handpicked chancre crab and soft herbs. Guernsey’s famously rich cheeses, cream and butter were all key ingredients that featured on the afternoon’s bespoke menu.
The event was a great success, with Robbie Le Messurier from Locate Guernsey commenting, “the organisation (of the event) was impeccable. It was all so slick right from the welcome, to the bar, to the dinner, to the tech. It was also so impressive to see people walking the floor with ear pieces ready to react to any potential problem. We have received numerous positive comments from guests about the quality of the event space and the excellent calibre of your staff. A number of guests have also expressed an interest in booking the space for their own events too!”
