The London Metal Exchange Celebrates Its New Gold and Silver Contracts

07 August 2017/Corporate

LME chose Landing Forty Two as the setting of its recent celebratory event, launching new gold and silver contracts LMEprecious.

Designed to offer the ability to trade luxury metals with other industry participants, the new contracts are one of the biggest suites of products LME have launched in recent years, so the bar was raised - this had to be one impressive party for their guests.
LME has worked closely with a number of industry partners on this initiative, and as such the company was keen to publicly thank its partners and other members of the precious metals industry who had supported them.

LME were looking for a venue with plenty of ‘wow factor’ and a great location, within easy access of Bank Station where the vast majority their industry is based. Landing Forty Two fitted LME’s criteria perfectly.

“The event was a huge success. Our guests were incredibly impressed by the venue, with the view on arrival speaking for itself! The food was all delicious, particular highlights being the Mini Beef Wellington canapé and the Slider Bar which went down a treat after a few glasses of Prosecco. The venue team were very accommodating in helping us to add a number of gold and silver finishing touches, which all contributed to making the event the flawless and memorable one that it was.”

“We were delighted to receive positive feedback the next day from our senior management team who were at the event, as well as from a number of clients who expressed their thanks for such a well managed event. We’ll definitely come back!”
